Sometimes it is good to hit pause and sit with our feeling and emotions for as little as 10mins a day. Life is a fast pace, and you can get caught up with not addressing some important feelings. This can lead to an overload which can irrupt negatively. If it has, be kind to yourself and that 10 mins even over a coffee to reconnect yourself can help heal and spur on self growth into a positive light.

Keeping the survival switch on the whole time is tiring, but by sharing your thinking and trusting, the adult voice promotes creativity and spontaneity. Perfectionism can be dangerous leading to more mental health issues such as depression and lack of self-esteem. A useful exercise tool is to actually sit with the feelings and realise you do have a choice. Looking at things in a more relaxed manor and giving encouragement to oneself out loud has is invaluable. It’s a ‘feel, stop & think’ moment!
