GiGi FitPro as a business has a passion for wellness and wellbeing though raising awareness personally and professionally.
GiGi knows exactly how easy it is for life’s ups and downs to derail even the best laid routines, affecting metal wellness and impacting the balance. We offer support & direction with understanding and no judgement. The journey can be slow or beyond one’s control, but with GiGi FitPro’s guidance the barriers can become less rigid and more flexible in how to break them down to achieve your life’s balance.
Fitness/dance has always remained a core part of her being and she qualified as a personal trainer, starting a part-time wellness coaching programme, collaborating with local business.
Covid saw this morph into writing around metal health, well-being and fitness coaching. This path has now led to merging all these identities into one as a Mental Health & Wellness Coach!
A fully qualified mental health wellness and fitness coach with over 15 years experience in different professional community sectors . GiGi started her professional career in musical theatre, training at the Royal Ballet and Arts Ed London. After gaining a her MA in inclusive education and leadership qualifications, she transitioned into new career opportunities.
- Leadership & management roles, developing cohesive effective partnerships inside and outside academia.
- Implementing new initiatives around equal opportunities, safeguarding and mental well-being
- Developing policy schemes within the performing arts discipline and business e-learning/apprenticeships.
- Funded projects with Glasgow University with JISC
GiGi brings clients a deep-rooted knowledge of overall wellness struggles, including many she has overcome herself:
- Gaining an unhealthy amount of weight and, working through a steady pace, losing 23kg.
- Experiencing early peri menopause and its associated complications, finding a steady balance after 8 years.
- Navigating issues of anxiety, stress and confidence that have had a major role in navigating life demands and friendships.
- A recent role as a carer to elders, generating a passion and motivation for the importance for self care and self kindness
Spreading and getting the word out of the importance of recognising mental wellness, wellbeing and health through coaching or training is at the heart to what makes you happy and feeling good.
